Better for the Planet
It’s hard to believe that most food is still packed in plastic when it’s just not necessary anymore. Here at Source of the Earth, we searched high and low for the best possible material to make out bags from. We chose a combination of paper on the outside and a compostable film on the inside made from sustainably sourced trees. In some countries such as Ireland, The Netherlands and Austria, our bags can go in the home food waste bin for industrial composting. We hope that will be the case in the UK very soon. Currently, you can home compost them and they will completely break down within 26 weeks
